My design will be on sale from 2011

I did illustration for amulet for a shrine in Japan, and the amulets are going to be on sale from 2011.
This shrine, Monju-Do is owned by relatives in Sendai (North East Japan), and they are making new version of amulet for 2011 which is the year of the Rabbit. The shrine is known as patron goddess of people from the year of the rabbit, so the amulet has a design of rabbit.
The photo is the actual statue of rabbit in the shrine...it stands on its hands...cute, isn't it?

Gaps uk at house of commons

I won a competition "No Women No Peace".
I was invited to the House of Commons on the 11th of October 2010
and presented the artwork to Foreign Secretary William Hague MP.
He said he would display it in Foreign Office, I wonder if it is true...?

My work is mentioned in uplift magazine and UCA website.

No Women No Peace

This is my artwork which won No Women No Peace competition.
It means...the way it looks, no women, no peace.

The Mask Project

The theme is "Persona" in terms of physiology.
When people communicate with others, they wear "Mask" and modify themselves into the circumstances. I thought about what "identity" exactly means... how can you know what your identity is...?

Shiki-Ka

This is branding challenge for scented products, with considering how we can communicate scent with using visual language. The theme was Japanese four seasons (shiki-ka means scent of four seasons)
The images were done by silk-screen printings, and I made them move in the animations.

Propaganda Project

Font sizeThe brief was that I had to create propaganda poster, book covers and typefaces which promote an (imaginary) society where Feminism and Meritocracy exist at the same time, with understanding the paradox between them.
(men and women have different talent naturally, so they cannot be equal all the time etc.)
The competition I am planning to work for over the summer, its theme is "No women, No peace", coincidentally similar to this propaganda theme. So I am thinking of developing my work for the competition.

vivi-d

This is branding for hair dye.
"Vivi-d" provides with vivid colours, and the meaning of headdress leads to the point where even birds want the colours.
